How aligner treatment is planned
A digital scan replaces impressions. From it we plan each stage of movement, review the projected outcome with you, and only then produce the trays.
Each set is worn roughly one to two weeks, 20 to 22 hours a day, and removed for eating and cleaning.

What aligners treat well
Crowding, spacing, mild-to-moderate bite discrepancies and relapse after childhood braces respond well. Complex skeletal problems may still be better served by fixed appliances or a specialist referral, and we will say so directly.

Aligners only work while they are in. Patients who keep to the recommended hours finish close to the planned timeline; inconsistent wear extends treatment.

Simple cases can finish in a few months; more involved cases take a year or longer. Your plan gives an estimate before you start.
Will it affect my speech?
Most people adapt within a few days. Any initial awareness of the trays fades quickly.
Do I need retainers afterwards?
Yes. Teeth drift throughout life, and retainers are what protect the result you paid for.
