Crowns & Bridges
When a tooth is too damaged for a filling, a crown restores its shape and protects what remains. When a tooth is gone, a bridge closes the gap using the teeth on either side.
Crowns
A crown covers the whole visible tooth. It is the standard restoration after a root canal, for cracked cusps, and for teeth where repeated fillings have left too little structure to bite safely.

Bridges
A bridge spans a gap with a replacement tooth attached to crowns on the adjacent teeth. It is fixed in place, needs no surgery, and can be a strong option when neighbouring teeth already need crowns anyway.
Where the neighbouring teeth are healthy and untouched, an implant is often the more conservative choice. We will show you both paths with their trade-offs.

A restoration that fits precisely at the margin keeps bacteria out and gums calm. We take the time at the fit appointment to verify margins, contacts and bite before cementing.

How long do crowns last?
Many last well over a decade. Longevity depends on hygiene, grinding habits and whether the underlying tooth stays healthy.
Crown or implant?
A crown restores a tooth you still have; an implant replaces one you have lost. If the tooth is restorable, keeping it is usually preferable.
